In the 17th minute Rien Oss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ni Le Zheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Acácio Nogueira put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Baron Buffon. AC Batán's Ni Le Zheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rien Oss in the 22nd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Rien Oss made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Rien Oss sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ni Le Zheng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio Nogueira in the 56th minute of play forced Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goalkeeper Baron Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baron Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rien Oss in the 57th minute of play forced AC Batán's goalkeeper Ni Le Zheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaberto Jacindo was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Muñes de Don Cuco's players had a chance to rest. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Baron Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido Cardozo in the 92nd minute of play. When Cido Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the AC Batán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cido Cardozo couldn't finish the play. The AC Batán support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
