The supporters of Los Muñes de Don Cuco booed when Congo Bongo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wu Hong Ning didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute Rien Oss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máté Márton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caleb Law made in the 38th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Damaso Sancho immediately put the ball in play. The corner led to Congo Bongo's Kaj-Åke Kaká getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rien Oss made a kick off. Wu Hong Ning made in the 51st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Damaso Sancho. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Damaso Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Congo Bongo's supporters rose to their feet, but Damaso Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baron Buffon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baron Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Sancho in the 56th minute of play. In the 58thth minute of the game Damaso Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Baron Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Los Muñes de Don Cuco made a substitution. Ramon Pero replaced Rien Oss. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Peyami Hasanbeyli was substituted for Truylos Barbari. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Sancho in the 65th minute of play forced Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goalkeeper Baron Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon Pero in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Máté Márton saved Congo Bongo from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Sergio Austin made a precise shot to the right of Baron Buffon. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Arnaldo Oidor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Iker Losada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Oidor came free, but Baron Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Muñes de Don Cuco walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
