Fabian Emeterio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Boumans in the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Runa United's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Ceballos came free, but Nils-Erik Åhlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julián Palacios was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harry Boumans during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Runa United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Boumans to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute Ted Almstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Emeterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Emeterio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Boumans, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The supporters of Runa United booed when Vilo Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julián Palacios didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute of the match Tommy Ekgren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabian Emeterio skillfully saved the ball. In the 46th minute, Alvaro Castel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ezequiel Ceballos to strike the kick off in the second half. Vilo Futbol Club's Fabian Emeterio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Vilo Futbol Club from getting a goal against them.
