Davi Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Bingen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justino Hustaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Paraense in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berry Bliss in the 46th minute of play forced Inter de Melão's goalkeeper Davi Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inter de Melão's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Virgilio Bingen 47 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Delfim Paraense was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgilio Bingen in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davi Valadares saved Inter de Melão from getting behind. The supporters of Black Sails booed when Inter de Melão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Acácio Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute of the match Berry Bliss sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Davi Valadares skillfully saved the ball. In the 58th minute, Falcão Dias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Justino Hustaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Davi Valadares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgilio Bingen's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Inter de Melão's Davi Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Sciarretta in the 66th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgilio Bingen in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davi Valadares saved Inter de Melão from getting behind. Inter de Melão's Davi Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Bingen in the 76th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgilio Bingen in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davi Valadares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Berry Bliss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgilio Bingen in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davi Valadares saved Inter de Melão from getting behind. Davi Valadares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgilio Bingen's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camillo Sciarretta in the 87th minute of play forced Inter de Melão's goalkeeper Davi Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Berry Bliss made a precise shot to the right of Davi Valadares. Inter de Melão's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. After 94 minutes, Virgilio Bingen made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. Inter de Melão's Davi Valadares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 6-2 when Virgilio Bingen sped through Inter de Melão's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Davi Valadares. For all the effort they put into the match, the Inter de Melão players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Black Sails.
