With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikola Mirotić in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Valente saved Scofield from getting behind. Fabian Czeszejko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Valente having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Leon Piekarczyk hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Tolek Kiszkiel made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Feliciano Baumar sent off a good shot on target. Scofield's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alto Roca in the 67th minute. It was a well-played corner which Valerius Ginsberg managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Scofield's Cayetano Urdin got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olimpia HSB's Jacek Pietrowiak was substituted for Fabian Czeszejko. Valerius Ginsberg struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Tolek Kiszkiel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scofield.
