An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Herz in the 10th minute of play forced ZigZag Athletic's goalkeeper Teofilo Distiratsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 played minutes Zelg FC got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Bieber. Bengt-Rune Öman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sepp Mainville. Zelg FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sepp Mainville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesper Vollander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ZigZag Athletic's Zhuang Gang Peng managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lenny Traugott in the 19 minute of the game. In the 27th minute Jonas Herz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Herz had several of the ZigZag Athletic's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Teofilo Distiratsu as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 33rd minute Jonas Herz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sepp Mainville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Messi in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, ZigZag Athletic's goalkeeper Teofilo Distiratsu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Irwin Monney. Irwin Monney spun around in front of the goal 38 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of ZigZag Athletic's goal. Vinicio Beliran hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Herz in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofilo Distiratsu saved ZigZag Athletic from getting behind. Jonas Herz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Teofilo Distiratsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gösta Messi made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Zelg FC got a freekick which was hit by Lenny Traugott. Vinicio Beliran's late challenge caught a Zelg FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinicio Beliran helped the player get up and apologised. Vinicio Beliran hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Teofilo Distiratsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irwin Monney in the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of ZigZag Athletic booed when Zelg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenny Traugott didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Herz in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Distiratsu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th match minute, ZigZag Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çelebi Özgen to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Herz might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teofilo Distiratsu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonas Herz ran back to his position shaking his head. 73 minutes into the match, Jonas Herz notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of ZigZag Athletic's Teofilo Distiratsu. Teofilo Distiratsu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ZigZag Athletic's Teofilo Distiratsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Herz in the 80th minute of play. Jonas Herz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ZigZag Athletic made a substitution. August Hökkvist replaced Jesper Vollander. ZigZag Athletic's Yu Ran Sha was substituted for Lin Xiao Chao. The throw-in from Çelebi Özgen in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Zelg FC's Stephan Eichenberger. With his leg Sepp Mainville managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when ZigZag Athletic's August Hökkvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 94 minutes into the match, ZigZag Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Herz came free, but Teofilo Distiratsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zelg FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
