Aurelio Di Lullo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bernabe Ladio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 7 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Attilio Fortunato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valdieri's supporters rose to their feet, but Attilio Fortunato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernabe Ladio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Aurelio Di Lullo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Hermosillo FC's Yu Jing ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aurelio Di Lullo. Aurelio Di Lullo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After 27 played minutes Valdieri got a freekick which was hit by Fulvio Bozzelli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Ladio in the 30th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Aurelio Di Lullo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 31st minute of the game was made by Javier Quentin with Gonzalo Corderro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Valdieri's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Mauricio Ekaitz scored to the left of an out of position Aurelio Di Lullo, making the score, 4-0. 42 minutes in the game Javier Quentin did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gonzalo Corderro. Emiliano Victoro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Aurelio Di Lullo made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Valdieri's Edoardo Cabrini got a free kick in the 44th minute. Aurelio Di Lullo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Ladio, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Emanuele Ranieri hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Attilio Fortunato made the kick off in the second half. Aurelio Di Lullo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauricio Ekaitz went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Bernabe Ladio took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Di Lullo. Aurelio Di Lullo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. 67 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Ekaitz came free, but Aurelio Di Lullo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Valdieri defense, Yu Jing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. The Valdieri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Di Lullo should have stopped the shot. 74 minutes into the game, Hermosillo FC's Bernabe Ladio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Di Lullo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Emanuele Ranieri hit a great ball. Hermosillo FC's Eloy Su couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 81st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Valdieri. Aurelio Di Lullo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Ladio in the 83rd minute of play. Aurelio Di Lullo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauricio Ekaitz went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score.
