An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Ekaitz in the 3rd minute of play forced Hogans Heroes's goalkeeper Emil Wahlström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hogans Heroes's Emil Wahlström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Ekaitz in the 7th minute of play. Samuel Evarado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Oskar Åhman in the 9th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hermosillo FC's Yu Jing slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emil Wahlström. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. In the 18th minute Tomas Kielstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Evarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Kielstedt spun around in front of the goal 21 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Hermosillo FC's goal. 24 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Oskar Åhman came free, but Samuel Evarado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Evarado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Kielstedt in the 25th minute of play. Samuel Evarado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Forssell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Yu Jing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bright Morningstar came free, but Samuel Evarado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauricio Ekaitz in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Wahlström saved Hogans Heroes from getting behind. Emil Wahlström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Ladio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th match minute, Hermosillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Frutos to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven-Oskar Åhman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Samuel Evarado made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Sven-Oskar Åhman sent off a good shot on target. Bright Morningstar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Samuel Evarado came out and tried to block the shot, but Bright Morningstar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 77th minute. Hermosillo FC's Alejandro Lope was substituted for Javier Quentin. Emil Wahlström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yu Jing, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Emil Wahlström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yu Jing in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hogans Heroes had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
