Mario Sugiono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszko Galaska in the 18th minute of play. Mario Sugiono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Bittencourt in the 22nd minute of the match. Tolek Kornatowski took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mario Sugiono. Mario Sugiono dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Kevin Hunn was slow to take the kick. During this time Denti della Vecchia's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Real Mollucas's goalie and right to Tolek Kornatowski. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Real Mollucas's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Kevin Hunn ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Real Mollucas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Denti della Vecchia were winning 0-3.

After 53 minutes of play, Real Mollucas's Bono Suparmaji made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto Pinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! 72 minutes into the match, Real Mollucas's goalkeeper Mario Sugiono had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tadeu Bittencourt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolek Kornatowski in the 73rd minute of play forced Real Mollucas's goalkeeper Mario Sugiono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Sugiono yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. After a defensive mix-up in Real Mollucas's zone, Tadeu Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Sugiono came out of the goal and Tadeu Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Denti della Vecchia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Real Mollucas throughout the match.
