In the 27th match minute, Northland Vikings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olov Ivarsson to maneuver through the defense. Jesus Casado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Kullgren having to interfere. Andreas Falk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Mannuel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gustaf Kullgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jesus Casado's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. 63 minutes into the game, Jesus Casado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Gustaf Kullgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 66 minutes into the game, Jesus Casado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gustaf Kullgren. Jesus Casado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 70th minute Andreas Falk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Mannuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
