A collision led to Metapalo FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Humberto Rodrigues hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Gonzalo Franco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Akşemseddin Taran skillfully saved the ball. Arsenio Cordeal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dante Rafe's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Valentin Vergaray charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Vergaray the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes Plebeyos got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Vergaray. Arsenio Cordeal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Beltza in the 43rd minute of the match. After 47 minutes of play, Plebeyos's Guilherme Basso made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Akşemseddin Taran was left in no man's land by his defense there! The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guilherme Basso was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Waldemar Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute of the match Humberto Rodrigues shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arsenio Cordeal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Plebeyos's Arsenio Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tytus Jaszcz in the 75th minute of play. Plebeyos's Pedro Monzon was substituted for Carlos Monzón. The supporters of Plebeyos booed when Metapalo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position.
