After a defensive mix-up in DESTROY's zone, Kåre Uter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurids Baylund came out of the goal and Kåre Uter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to DESTROY getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Hernan Tello hit a great ball. Waldemar Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brennan Johnson hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute Robert Söderlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurids Baylund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Basso in the 43rd minute of play. After 45 minutes of play, Plebeyos's Valentin Vergaray made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laurids Baylund was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

52 minutes into the match, Santos Borre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arsenio Cordeal. Plebeyos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santos Borre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.
