Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 16th minute of play. Wilhelm Galle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Caeiro's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Kind of Blue's Anastasios Pallini was substituted for Jonny Lagerberg. In the 25th minute of the match VB-Team got a corner. Kind of Blue's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Álvaro Rezende ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on VB-Team's corner Álvaro Rezende fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wilhelm Galle quite easily take care of the ball. When Sebastian Käller came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Kind of Blue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Käller couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Arthur Guerra in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kind of Blue's Tonhão Rodrigues. In the 39thth minute of the game Sebastian Käller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VB-Team's Armindo Salgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastian Käller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armindo Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sebastian Käller kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Armindo Salgado. That made the score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Sebastian Käller struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Armindo Salgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kind of Blue. The crowd rose to their feet as VB-Team's Shao Kun Yuan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilhelm Galle. That made the score 2-1 after 54 minutes of play. Armindo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Käller, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Sebastian Käller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armindo Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Sebastian Käller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armindo Salgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Kind of Blue's Östen Högman was substituted for Zhuo Ke Le. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim de Barros got free with Wilhelm Galle in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebastian Käller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Armindo Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74thth minute of the game Sebastian Käller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VB-Team's Armindo Salgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Hăvârneanu in the 75th minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Wilhelm Galle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Sebastian Käller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kind of Blue made a substitution. Horea Boian replaced Anastasios Pallini. 86 minutes into the game, Sebastian Käller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Armindo Salgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 90 minutes, Sebastian Käller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kind of Blue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Käller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the VB-Team defense, Sebastian Käller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armindo Salgado. The VB-Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armindo Salgado should have stopped the shot. Kind of Blue's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
