In the 21st minute Oğuzkan Kamuran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brazilio Butt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brazilio Butt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillaume Chaine in the 40th minute of the match. Jerry Jonasson hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerry Jonasson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Selmo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 54th minute Guillaume Chaine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brazilio Butt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafail Rusev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brazilio Butt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Fabian Walme got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Brazilio Butt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, DIF LEEDS BK's Lars Gudmundsson got a free kick in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when Rafail Rusev came free, but Brazilio Butt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafail Rusev in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, DIF LEEDS BK's Ulf Nordlander got a free kick in the 69th minute. The supporters of Valette Stars booed when DIF LEEDS BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Nordlander didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when Rafail Rusev came free, but Brazilio Butt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulf Nordlander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillaume Chaine in the 74th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pál Kormos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillaume Chaine in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Nordlander in the 80th minute of play forced Valette Stars's goalkeeper Adrien Tanneau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau got control of the ball when Renzo Ingelborgs tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 86 minutes, Jerry Jonasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DIF LEEDS BK and the Valette Stars players grew even worse after the yellow card. The DIF LEEDS BK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DIF LEEDS BK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
