Marek Czech struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Serafin Ugaitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Głodne Ghule. Serafin Ugaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Czech, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Cacomixtles de Queretaro made a substitution. Roland Nieruchliwy replaced Gustav Sefastsson. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marek Czech to make the kick off. In the 86th match minute, Głodne Ghule was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Sequeira to maneuver through the defense. Fridtjof Ferstad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafin Ugaitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Głodne Ghule's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fabian Penczkowski in the 92nd minute. Johannes Olofsson kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Głodne Ghule played a much better game than Cacomixtles de Queretaro and deserved their victory. The Cacomixtles de Queretaro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
