When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Gu Chang Peng sped through Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Reynaldo Astrada. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Dabi in the 29th minute of play forced Ripa FC's goalkeeper Aldo Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gu Chang Peng made a kick off. Aldo Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Dabi in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Gu Chang Peng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
