LANUS's Cristian Mergildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Corpeño in the 3rd minute of play. C.A. LANUS were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Sopa de Caracol FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adamantios Geronimidis took the corner. 8 minutes into the game, Christian Corpeño was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sopa de Caracol FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. LANUS the free kick. In the 8th minute, Christian Corpeño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pang Xing Lang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Libardo Mayen made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Serrizuela in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Libardo Mayen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sopa de Caracol FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adamantios Geronimidis was slow to take the kick. During this time C.A. LANUS's players had a chance to rest. The corner led C.A. LANUS's Adamantios Geronimidis to fire away a dangerous shot which Libardo Mayen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Francisco Montes hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Serrizuela in the 24th minute of play forced Sopa de Caracol FC's goalkeeper Libardo Mayen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sopa de Caracol FC's Libardo Mayen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Sopa de Caracol FC from getting a goal against them. When C.A. LANUS's José Serrizuela in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sopa de Caracol FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice moves Pang Xing Lang could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Libardo Mayen however easily saved by the left post. Pang Xing Lang had several of the Sopa de Caracol FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 42 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Libardo Mayen as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cristian Mergildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Oprea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Serrizuela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, José Serrizuela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 52 minutes into the match, Sopa de Caracol FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Serrizuela came free, but Libardo Mayen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Serrizuela in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Libardo Mayen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pang Xing Lang charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pang Xing Lang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes C.A. LANUS got a freekick which was hit by Pang Xing Lang. After having played for 68 minutes, Christian Corpeño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sopa de Caracol FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Corpeño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Serrizuela in the 70th minute of play forced Sopa de Caracol FC's goalkeeper Libardo Mayen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Pang Xing Lang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Libardo Mayen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Mergildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Corpeño in the 85th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Sopa de Caracol FC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Montes. Libardo Mayen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pang Xing Lang, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Pang Xing Lang took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Libardo Mayen. Libardo Mayen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. When the referee ended the match the C.A. LANUS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
