With a little luck, Celestiales's Hilario Calvet got control of the ball when Laurențiu Pora tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th minute of the match Hayalim Kedoshim got a corner. Celestiales's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luis Tamaron ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Hayalim Kedoshim's Luis Tamaron to fire away a dangerous shot which Hilario Calvet despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Hayalim Kedoshim's Dawid Beninda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hilario Calvet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute Hayalim Kedoshim were awarded a corner. Luis Tamaron went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Luis Tamaron almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Celestiales's Hilario Calvet did a great save. 15 minutes into the match, Hayalim Kedoshim's Laurențiu Pora sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hilario Calvet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Celestiales's Santiago Abreu in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hayalim Kedoshim's goalie prevented a goal. If Santiago Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 20 minutes into the match, Hayalim Kedoshim's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Abreu came free, but Cazimir Angelescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hayalim Kedoshim's Cazimir Angelescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Abreu in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute of the game Hunfredo Mancina made a throw-in which Laurențiu Pora played forward. Cazimir Angelescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Hayalim Kedoshim's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Abreu came free, but Cazimir Angelescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hunfredo Mancina made in the 35th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Laurențiu Pora immediately put the ball in play. 48 minutes into the match, Celestiales's goalkeeper Hilario Calvet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laurențiu Pora.

Celestiales's Evandro Maranhense was substituted for Luisito Tiniebra. In the 53rd match minute, Celestiales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Botello to maneuver through the defense. Luis Tamaron's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hilario Calvet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Hayalim Kedoshim made a substitution. Elano Salgado replaced Johny Konings. A sloppy throw-in by Mateo Gabino in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Hayalim Kedoshim's Tadeu Carneiro. Hilario Calvet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawid Beninda, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute Dawid Beninda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Calvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustaquio Eudoxio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dawid Beninda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Hilario Calvet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Eustaquio Eudoxio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Celestiales fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Hilario Calvet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawid Beninda, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Cazimir Angelescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustaquio Eudoxio in the 75th minute. Hayalim Kedoshim's Cazimir Angelescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Hayalim Kedoshim from getting a goal against them. Celestiales's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Albano Millan in the 89th minute. The corner ended in Mateo Gabino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hayalim Kedoshim's Cazimir Angelescu did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Eudoxio got free with Cazimir Angelescu in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 1-1. Extra-time would have to be played.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Eustaquio Eudoxio in Celestiales was the one to initiate the kick off. Alper Derinöz kicked well hit freekick during the 100th minute of the match. Cazimir Angelescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Millan, who was totally free with the ball in the 101st minute. With a little luck, Celestiales's Hilario Calvet got control of the ball when Gelu Chirilă tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eustaquio Eudoxio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 107th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hilario Calvet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gelu Chirilă in the 111th minute. Celestiales's Eustaquio Eudoxio managed to work through Hayalim Kedoshim's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Eustaquio Eudoxio dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When the referee signaled the end of the first half of extra-time the score was 1-1. The players had a chance to rest for a moment before the second half.

Both teams seemed ready to fight when Hayalim Kedoshim's Hanni Godines did the kick off and started the second half in the overtime. In the 125thth minute of the game Eustaquio Eudoxio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hayalim Kedoshim's Cazimir Angelescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With neither of the teams able to find a winning goal, the match would be decided by penalties!

In the 138th minute there was a penalty for Celestiales. Mateo Gabino stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cazimir Angelescu. 2-2. In the 145th minute there was a penalty for Hayalim Kedoshim. Luis Tamaron stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hilario Calvet. 5-3. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hayalim Kedoshim fans cheered their team off the field, for while Celestiales had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
