Everardo Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Oscar Valcarcel hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes Real Club Celta de Vigo got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Araujo. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Renato Tapia made the kick off in the second half. If Andrew Carrillos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 60 minutes into the match, Victoria Mlawa's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Tapia came free, but Kryspin Dembkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Victoria Mlawa's Walter Van Mechelen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Victoria Mlawa fans cheered their team off the field, for while Real Club Celta de Vigo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
