Paradorn Todor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Quintanilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Miguel Gallegos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 김 필's late challenge caught a El Salvador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 김 필 helped the player get up and apologised. Carlos Palencia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paradorn Todor. Barça Salvadoreño FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Buğra Karabugra kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Nelson Mendoza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paradorn Todor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 43rd minute, Maggi Gonzáles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paradorn Todor was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Paredes in the 46th minute of play forced Barça Salvadoreño FC's goalkeeper Paradorn Todor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

El Salvador made a substitution. Eliseo Guevara replaced Carlos Palencia. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexander Navas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Nelson Mendoza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paradorn Todor was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Barça Salvadoreño FC's Paradorn Todor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Quintanilla in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Barça Salvadoreño FC's goalkeeper Paradorn Todor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nelson Mendoza. In the 64th minute of the match, Raúl Quintanilla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paradorn Todor saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Paradorn Todor came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Barça Salvadoreño FC's Alexander Navas. But to his dismay, Alexander Navas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 76th minute Raúl Quintanilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paradorn Todor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Paredes got free with Paradorn Todor in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nelson Mendoza in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paradorn Todor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 81 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Maggi Gonzáles came free, but Paradorn Todor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paradorn Todor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Szoboszlai in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Barça Salvadoreño FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Salvador had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
