Club Ibiza's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Ireno in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Mouricio Zuri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yunus Mahşer made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Ibiza's Mariano Ireno. Lúcio Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 30th minute Evtim Kúrdzhev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mero Portero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mero Portero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 39th minute of the match. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Fonso in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 minutes CD Municipal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Ireno who took care of the corner kick. After 46 minutes of play, Club Ibiza's Bruno Fonso made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. George Forsyth was left in no man's land by his defense there! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enrique Cassaretto to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of CD Municipal booed when Club Ibiza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Enrique Cassaretto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mero Portero was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. With a little luck, Club Ibiza's Mero Portero got control of the ball when Enrique Cassaretto tried to sneak it across the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Enrique Cassaretto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Mero Portero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
