Kajetan Dec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Gahnsby, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Kajetan Dec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simon Gahnsby. Wieslaw Trzenzalski hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Wieslaw Trzenzalski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valeriu Hoisie having to make a save. After the first half Zawisza Bydgoszcz were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Simon Gahnsby to make the kick off. Kajetan Dec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Gahnsby in the 58th minute of the match. Valeriu Hoisie made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Ömer Halisdemir sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zawisza Bydgoszcz had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
