Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Magnus Åkesson made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Själevad RK's Magnus Åkesson got a free kick in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the game, one of Själevad RK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sidney Straker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Hydén in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Garry Foster cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tommy Lindgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 18 minutes into the match, Chelsea Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Hydén came free, but Sidney Straker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. John Paul Pitts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tommy Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Garry Foster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Själevad RK's Tommy Lindgren got control of the ball when Pete Straker tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Själevad RK's goal looked a bit too open when Gez Reading came free, but Tommy Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, John Paul Pitts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sidney Straker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Åkesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Magnus Åkesson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Chelsea Football Club's Sidney Straker. Sidney Straker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sidney Straker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Wassenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rune Hydén hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Garry Foster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sidney Straker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Hydén in the 44th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell John Paul Pitts to make the kick off. Sidney Straker was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hans Forsberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 52 minute of play. Själevad RK's Tommy Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garry Foster in the 56th minute of play. After 68 minutes of play, Chelsea Football Club's Brad Lomas made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Lindgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Själevad RK! If Rune Hydén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norman Fenton charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norman Fenton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Chelsea Football Club getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Norman Fenton hit a great ball. The supporters of Själevad RK booed when Chelsea Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Tetley didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes Själevad RK got a freekick which was hit by Hans Forsberg. After 92 played minutes Själevad RK got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Åkesson. In the 93rd match minute, Själevad RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Åkesson to maneuver through the defense. Garry Foster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee ended the match the Chelsea Football Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
