Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Magnus Åkesson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goalkeeper Nichifor Moțoc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magnus Åkesson. If Alf Wassenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nichifor Moțoc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magnus Åkesson in the 5th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, AC Milan's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Magnus Åkesson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to AC Milan getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Costică Gherasim hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, AC Milan's Lucian Ionașcu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Lindgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Själevad RK's goalkeeper Tommy Lindgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucian Ionașcu in the 26th minute of play forced Själevad RK's goalkeeper Tommy Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, AC Milan's Nichifor Moțoc got control of the ball when Alf Wassenius tried to sneak it across the goal line. Magnus Åkesson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Själevad RK booed when AC Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costică Gherasim didn't get a good kick on the ball. AC Milan's Nichifor Moțoc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Åkesson in the 36th minute of play. Magnus Åkesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nichifor Moțoc having to interfere. If Tiberiu Cordescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Själevad RK's Hans Forsberg got a free kick in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucian Ionașcu made a kick off. Lucian Ionașcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Lindgren having to interfere. When Lucian Ionașcu came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the AC Milan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucian Ionașcu couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Magnus Åkesson in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nichifor Moțoc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 57 minutes into the game, Costică Gherasim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Milan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Själevad RK the free kick. After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Costică Gherasim got a free kick in the 57th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Själevad RK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 60 minutes, AC Milan's Răzvan Bobariu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tommy Lindgren. With an all-out effort, AC Milan's Tommy Lindgren threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lucian Ionașcu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Evert Andersson charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evert Andersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, Själevad RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Andersson to maneuver through the defense. Costică Gherasim got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Magnus Åkesson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 minutes, Rune Hydén mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Själevad RK and the AC Milan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Magnus Åkesson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nichifor Moțoc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Alf Wassenius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucian Ionașcu's late challenge caught a Själevad RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucian Ionașcu helped the player get up and apologised. After recieving a nice pass, Själevad RK's Sven-Edvin Lindström tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. AC Milan's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
