The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Nicu Şchiopu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Sfârlea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Miclescu kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of Bear Bear booed when Pascal 11 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Giosu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Pascal 11's goalkeeper Dorin Neagu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Bordeanu. In the 18th minute Gabriel Bordeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorin Neagu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horea Ceaușu during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bear Bear's Horea Ceaușu got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 27th minute, Iordache Urdeş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Vasile Baicea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mugur Sfârlea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasile Baicea in the 38th minute of play forced Bear Bear's goalkeeper Mugur Sfârlea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Vasile Baicea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pascal 11 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Mugur Sfârlea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasile Baicea, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Bear Bear players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pascal 11 were winning 0-3.

Pascal 11's Nicu Şchiopu got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gabriel Bordeanu came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Bear Bear fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Bordeanu couldn't finish the play. Dorin Neagu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavius Ghioane, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pascal 11! The referee gave Bear Bear a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Manuel Miclescu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pascal 11's Dorin Neagu. 1-3. With a little luck, Bear Bear's Mugur Sfârlea got control of the ball when Nicu Şchiopu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriel Bordeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Dorin Neagu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Bear Bear's goalkeeper Mugur Sfârlea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasile Baicea. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vasile Baicea got free with Mugur Sfârlea in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mugur Sfârlea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Baicea in the 85th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Pascal 11 got a freekick which was hit by Andrei Măguran. Mugur Sfârlea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vasile Baicea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 96 minute of play. When the match was over Pascal 11 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bear Bear throughout the match.
