The audience thought a goal was coming when Alf Wassenius got free with István Borbás in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 1-0 became the score in the 8th minute when Alf Wassenius elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jónás Sárosi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Lindgren having to interfere. Cserháthaláp AC's István Borbás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Åkesson in the 26th minute of play. A hard shot 28 in the game by Alf Wassenius from a close distance when the talented István Borbás managed to make a qualified save. Cserháthaláp AC's players were relieved. A collision led to Cserháthaláp AC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Emánuel Demeter hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Csaba Veress managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cserháthaláp AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Csaba Veress was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Lindgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tommy Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jónás Sárosi, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Rune Hydén who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cserháthaláp AC's István Borbás was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tommy Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Csaba Veress, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Alf Wassenius notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Cserháthaláp AC's István Borbás. István Borbás was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tommy Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jónás Sárosi, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. With his leg István Borbás managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Själevad RK's Alf Wassenius fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Magnus Åkesson came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Själevad RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magnus Åkesson couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Csaba Veress to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alf Wassenius in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg István Borbás saved Cserháthaláp AC from getting behind. When Själevad RK's Alf Wassenius in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cserháthaláp AC's goalie prevented a goal. Jeromos Bodrogi charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeromos Bodrogi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Själevad RK booed when Cserháthaláp AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeromos Bodrogi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jónás Sárosi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. László Nemes charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed László Nemes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. László Nemes hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Alf Wassenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without István Borbás having to interfere. Själevad RK's Tommy Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Csaba Veress in the 87th minute of play. Csaba Veress received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tommy Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jónás Sárosi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 91st playminute.
