Francisc Vrabie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orev Aryeh in the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Galata FC's zone, Shir Ravinovic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisc Vrabie came out of the goal and Shir Ravinovic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Shir Ravinovic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maslul were furious when Baruch Kaplan was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Maslul! The referee gave Galata FC a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dragoş Lupoi made a kick off. Eusebiu Neagu kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Ciprian Tunaru's late challenge caught a Maslul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
