If Malte Brummer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Linderöd getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Michel Kellberg hit a great ball. Vincent Hamnberg scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paraskevas Papandreou, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kumla's Paraskevas Papandreou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Josefsson in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match, Michel Kellberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paraskevas Papandreou was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Kumla's Paraskevas Papandreou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verner Sjöman in the 18th minute of play. Boris Ugla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Sven-Oskar Asplund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Jack Åström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kumla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Linderöd the free kick. Jack Åström kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When Erland Flink came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Linderöd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erland Flink couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, Michel Kellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute Bo Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paraskevas Papandreou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paraskevas Papandreou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Kellberg in the 33rd minute. When Tobias Åström came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Kumla fans jumped to their feet. In the 39th minute, Svante Rydberg made a precise shot to the right of Sven-Oskar Asplund. Linderöd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The supporters of Linderöd booed when Kumla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Åke Martinsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kumla's Boris Ugla suffered a sore thigh after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 43 minutes, Vincent Hamnberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Linderöd and the Kumla players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kumla booed when Linderöd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Hamnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Oskar Asplund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tobias Åström's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Tobias Åström made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Linderöd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Verner Sjöman to maneuver through the defense. Tobias Åström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Oskar Asplund having to interfere. In the 56th minute Noureddine Seret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Oskar Asplund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Åström might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Oskar Asplund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tobias Åström ran back to his position shaking his head. Paraskevas Papandreou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verner Sjöman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Oskar Asplund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Noureddine Seret went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Paraskevas Papandreou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Josefsson in the 65th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kumla's zone, Bo Josefsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paraskevas Papandreou came out of the goal and Bo Josefsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Linderöd's Verner Sjöman in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kumla's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Kumla defense, Bo Josefsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paraskevas Papandreou. The Kumla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paraskevas Papandreou should have stopped the shot. Algot Ekblom kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Svante Rydberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Vincent Hamnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paraskevas Papandreou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Linderöd's goalkeeper Sven-Oskar Asplund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paraskevas Papandreou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Verner Sjöman's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Kellberg in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paraskevas Papandreou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kumla's Tobias Åström got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute of the match Erland Flink sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paraskevas Papandreou skillfully saved the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
