Nordic Mystery's Viktor Hjälm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Șerban Oblemenco in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Dahlman in the 15th minute of play forced CSM Catunele's goalkeeper Andrei Arbore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Åke Wennerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Arbore having to interfere. Frank Dahlman hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Viktor Hjälm was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Șerban Oblemenco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. Viktor Hjälm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iulian Patrichi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 28 minutes, Frank Dahlman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nordic Mystery's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Dahlman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, CSM Catunele's Mădălin Apetroaiei got a free kick in the 29th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Șerban Oblemenco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Viktor Hjälm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andrei Arbore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Åke Wennerberg in the 40th minute of the match. With a little luck, Nordic Mystery's Viktor Hjälm got control of the ball when Nicu Furdui tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andrei Arbore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olle Ekgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Nordic Mystery's goalkeeper Viktor Hjälm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicu Furdui. Viktor Hjälm was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Iulian Patrichi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 45 minute of play. In the 48th minute, Șerban Oblemenco fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Viktor Hjälm, passed just outside the right post.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Dahlman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Viktor Hjälm came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by CSM Catunele's Nicu Furdui. But to his dismay, Nicu Furdui quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iulian Patrichi in the 56th minute of play forced Nordic Mystery's goalkeeper Viktor Hjälm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Nicu Furdui had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viktor Hjälm. Nordic Mystery's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicu Furdui was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. When Nicu Furdui came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the CSM Catunele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicu Furdui couldn't finish the play. Viktor Hjälm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iulian Patrichi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Mugur Bolborici suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 66 minutes into the game, Karl-Magnus Frisck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nordic Mystery's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSM Catunele the free kick. CSM Catunele made a substitution. Flavius Sasu replaced Mugur Bolborici. After 67 played minutes Nordic Mystery got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Magnus Frisck. 71 minutes into the match, Nordic Mystery's Jan-Ove Hermansson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 73rd minute, Șerban Oblemenco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viktor Hjälm was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicu Furdui in the 79th minute of play forced Nordic Mystery's goalkeeper Viktor Hjälm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Frank Dahlman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nordic Mystery's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSM Catunele the free kick. In the 84th minute, Frank Dahlman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the game, Șerban Oblemenco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Viktor Hjälm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andrei Arbore was a little too slow when Jan-Åke Wennerberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 8-1. In the 97th minute, Nordic Mystery's Gilbert Ekerot seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gilbert Ekerot the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nordic Mystery protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gilbert Ekerot had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nordic Mystery fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CSM Catunele had played much better football throughout.
