But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gez Reading couldn't finish the play. After 21 minutes of play, Pascal 11's Vasile Baicea made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sean Byrne was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Ionașcu in the 25th minute of play forced Chelsea Football Club's goalkeeper Sean Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pascal 11's Dorin Neagu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Pascal 11 from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Pete Straker kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dorin Neagu. That made the score 1-1 in the 32 minute of play. Ivan Giosu scored 1-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sean Byrne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Chelsea Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Vasile Baicea came free, but Sean Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Pete Straker ran back to his position shaking his head. Dorin Neagu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pete Straker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Pascal 11's zone, John Paul Pitts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorin Neagu came out of the goal and John Paul Pitts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pete Straker came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Chelsea Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pete Straker couldn't finish the play. If Gez Reading had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, Nechifor Moarcăș was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pascal 11's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chelsea Football Club the free kick. Nechifor Moarcăș hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Chelsea Football Club's Sean Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Baicea in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pascal 11 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
