When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Lucian Ionașcu sped through Pascal 11's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dorin Neagu. 7 minutes into the game, Tiberiu Cordescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Milan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pascal 11 the free kick. In the 7th match minute, AC Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiberiu Cordescu to maneuver through the defense. AC Milan's Nichifor Moțoc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save AC Milan from getting a goal against them. In the 12th minute, Vasile Baicea made a precise shot to the right of Nichifor Moțoc. AC Milan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 15th minute, Ivan Giosu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Ilie Ionașcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vasile Baicea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Pascal 11's Horaţiu Calciu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nichifor Moțoc. That made the score 2-1 after 24 minutes of play. Dorin Neagu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucian Ionașcu in the 27th minute of play. Cazimir Rădescu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Milan's goalkeeper Nichifor Moțoc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gigel Oțeteleșanu hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Dorin Neagu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Cordescu in the 37th minute of play. Constantin Graur kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Vasile Baicea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Horaţiu Calciu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nichifor Moțoc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Gherasim in the 59th minute of play forced Pascal 11's goalkeeper Dorin Neagu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cazimir Rădescu fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Milan's protests and gave Cazimir Rădescu a yellow card for diving instead. Nichifor Moțoc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Bilașco, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Vasile Baicea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Nichifor Moțoc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ilie Ionașcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costică Gherasim's late challenge caught a Pascal 11's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costică Gherasim helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes AC Milan got a freekick which was hit by Costică Gherasim. Dorin Neagu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucian Ionașcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucian Ionașcu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Marin Cucu fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pascal 11's protests and gave Marin Cucu a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Pascal 11 got a freekick which was hit by Liviu Bilașco. Dorin Neagu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiberiu Cordescu in the 85th minute. During the 88th minute of the match Cazimir Rădescu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cazimir Rădescu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 88 played minutes AC Milan got a freekick which was hit by Cazimir Rădescu. After having played for 91 minutes, Ilie Ionașcu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pascal 11's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilie Ionașcu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Constantin Graur got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th match minute, Pascal 11 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marin Cucu to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pascal 11 had played much better football throughout.
