Hans Forsberg hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Magnus Åkesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Sean Byrne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans Forsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Hans Forsberg notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Chelsea Football Club's Sean Byrne. Sean Byrne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alf Wassenius's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Sean Byrne skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Chelsea Football Club's Oliver Fenton got a free kick in the 26th minute. 31 minutes into the game, John Paul Pitts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tommy Lindgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alf Wassenius took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sean Byrne. Sean Byrne dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Chelsea Football Club's Sean Byrne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Chelsea Football Club from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Wassenius in the 44th minute of play forced Chelsea Football Club's goalkeeper Sean Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alf Wassenius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Sean Byrne made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of Chelsea Football Club booed when Själevad RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magnus Åkesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pete Straker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Tommy Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pete Straker in the 60th minute of the match. Rune Hydén kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Magnus Åkesson scored 3-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sean Byrne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tommy Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pete Straker in the 76th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Pete Straker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelsea Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Pete Straker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Lindgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the match, Chelsea Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Åkesson came free, but Sean Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rune Hydén kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Själevad RK's goalkeeper Tommy Lindgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John Paul Pitts. Chelsea Football Club's Sean Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Wassenius in the 88th minute of play. Gez Reading fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Lindgren having to interfere. John Paul Pitts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Lindgren having to interfere. If Pete Straker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chelsea Football Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Själevad RK.
