Bear Bear's Mugur Sfârlea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Șerban Oblemenco in the 16th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Bordeanu in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrei Arbore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mugur Sfârlea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Șerban Oblemenco, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Nicu Furdui came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the CSM Catunele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicu Furdui couldn't finish the play. If Iulian Patrichi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Mădălin Apetroaiei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Sfârlea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mugur Sfârlea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Șerban Oblemenco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Bordeanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Mugur Sfârlea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicu Furdui, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. A collision led to CSM Catunele getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Mădălin Apetroaiei hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Bear Bear's goal looked a bit too open when Șerban Oblemenco came free, but Mugur Sfârlea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Iulian Patrichi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CSM Catunele's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bear Bear the free kick. In the 90th minute, Mugur Bolborici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Bear Bear booed when CSM Catunele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mădălin Apetroaiei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bear Bear's Eugen Lesnea couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CSM Catunele. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bear Bear players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CSM Catunele.
