After a defensive mix-up in Galata FC's zone, Eugen Lesnea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisc Vrabie came out of the goal and Eugen Lesnea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 16 minutes, Eusebiu Neagu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galata FC and the Bear Bear players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Galata FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Eusebiu Neagu hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Bordeanu got free with Francisc Vrabie in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucian Encuțoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Macaneață in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Eusebiu Neagu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucian Encuțoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavian Niculiță kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Francisc Vrabie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Bordeanu in the 40th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Bordeanu made a kick off. Galata FC's Francisc Vrabie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Bordeanu in the 53rd minute of play. Francisc Vrabie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Bordeanu in the 55th minute of the match. Francisc Vrabie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Bordeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Lucian Encuțoiu made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Dragoş Lupoi sent off a good shot on target. Gabriel Bordeanu scored 1-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisc Vrabie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 69 minutes into the game, Iurie Enoiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galata FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bear Bear the free kick. After a rather tough play, Galata FC's Iurie Enoiu got a free kick in the 69th minute. Lucian Encuțoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Neagu in the 74th minute of play. Lucian Encuțoiu was a little too slow when Eusebiu Neagu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 1-1. Galata FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
