Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lalo Buenaga took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 played minutes Yala got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Birjaio. Valentin Eguntsenti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lalo Buenaga's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute Charro Pereceira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Eguntsenti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Hector-Luis Conllas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentin Eguntsenti was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After having played for 23 minutes, Teofilo Pardelas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Pardelas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Hector-Luis Conllas sped through Yala's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valentin Eguntsenti. Filiberto Formerio hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, AFC United's Hector-Luis Conllas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valentin Eguntsenti. Valentin Eguntsenti yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristobal Aurken made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Yala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Betadur to maneuver through the defense. Charro Pereceira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valentin Eguntsenti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lalo Buenaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the game, AFC United's Lalo Buenaga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valentin Eguntsenti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 60 minutes into the game, Lalo Buenaga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Valentin Eguntsenti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of AFC United booed when Yala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Richie didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lalo Buenaga in the 70th minute of play forced Yala's goalkeeper Valentin Eguntsenti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 played minutes AFC United got a freekick which was hit by Charro Pereceira. Ulises Tello was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 74 minutes into the match. Teofilo Pardelas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lalo Buenaga took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Eguntsenti. Valentin Eguntsenti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Lalo Buenaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Eguntsenti having to interfere. Teofilo Pardelas hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match.
