If Lalo Buenaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Régis Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Régis Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Pedro Torrens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AFC United's Pedro Torrens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gildo de Souza in the 27th minute of play. A very good chance. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Carlos Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lalo Buenaga in the 35th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Lalo Buenaga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Carlos Marinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anxo Labrada's late challenge caught a 卡納里尼奧 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anxo Labrada helped the player get up and apologised. Teofilo Pardelas made a great header on AFC United's corner, it was just that 卡納里尼奧 FC's Carlos Marinho managed to reach the ball for a save. If Charro Pereceira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The 卡納里尼奧 FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AFC United were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lalo Buenaga to make the kick off. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by 卡納里尼奧 FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teofilo Pardelas was slow to take the kick. During this time AFC United's players had a chance to rest. Amílton Marinho tried in the 57th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Carlos Marinho a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-3. In the 65th minute, Charro Pereceira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of AFC United booed when 卡納里尼奧 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Régis Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lalo Buenaga in the 71st minute of play. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Carlos Marinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save 卡納里尼奧 FC from getting a goal against them. Amílton Marinho charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amílton Marinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The 卡納里尼奧 FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AFC United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
