But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laerte Marquez couldn't finish the play. In the 3rd minute, Apolo Sarracino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the game, Régis Vides was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 卡納里尼奧 FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yala the free kick. Filiberto Formerio hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Feliberto Joey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bruno Lawrence came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Yala fans jumped to their feet. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Agostinho Guedes to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Yala got a freekick which was hit by Placido Nisio. Agostinho Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Valentin Eguntsenti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Yala's Apolo Sarracino got a free kick in the 60th minute.
