The goalkeeper, Alonzo Marques, was totally fooled by AFC United's Salomon Taracena, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Alonzo Marques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hector-Luis Conllas's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After a rather tough play, ⚽TONY FC⚽'s Angelino Lehen got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 22 played minutes ⚽TONY FC⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Iban. Alonzo Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lalo Buenaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, ⚽TONY FC⚽'s goal looked a bit too open when Lalo Buenaga came free, but Alonzo Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alonzo Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salomon Taracena in the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of AFC United booed when ⚽TONY FC⚽ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Eder didn't get a good kick on the ball. ⚽TONY FC⚽'s Alonzo Marques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save ⚽TONY FC⚽ from getting a goal against them. Pedro Torrens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Eder in the 35th minute of play. ⚽TONY FC⚽'s Alonzo Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lalo Buenaga in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lalo Buenaga to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector-Luis Conllas in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alonzo Marques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alejandro Suero hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Alonzo Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lalo Buenaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Salomon Taracena notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of ⚽TONY FC⚽'s Alonzo Marques. Alonzo Marques was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Ladislao Urtats fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ⚽TONY FC⚽'s protests and gave Ladislao Urtats a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Ladislao Urtats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvestre Eder took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Torrens. Pedro Torrens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 70 minutes into the game, Roegelio Moyua was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ⚽TONY FC⚽ the free kick.
