In the 24th minute Iustinian Elefterescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Napier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Izotz let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 26th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. Ovidiu Oniga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Narciso Napier. Lomas de Zamora FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rutenio Guzmán prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iustinian Elefterescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jeremias Izotz scored 2-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rutenio Guzmán, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Izotz in the 57th minute of play forced -BZF-Magica Steaua's goalkeeper Rutenio Guzmán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
