Fang Kun Zheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fryderyk Motowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mai Si Liang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Zenon Niezywy made a huge save. After 13 played minutes FC Bredene got a freekick which was hit by Dobromir Brodzki. Zenon Niezywy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Juan Čuk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kraków1983 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 21st minute, Fryderyk Motowski made a precise shot to the right of Fang Kun Zheng. FC Bredene's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 24 minutes into the match, FC Bredene's goal looked a bit too open when Fryderyk Motowski came free, but Fang Kun Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otto Fenomeno might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zenon Niezywy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Otto Fenomeno ran back to his position shaking his head. Zenon Niezywy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Fenomeno in the 28th minute of play. If Patricio Vimaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wellington do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, FC Bredene's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Hakan Şükür came free, but Fang Kun Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Otto Fenomeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th minute Otto Fenomeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Niezywy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otto Fenomeno in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zenon Niezywy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Bredene's Cederic Van Hoeij quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edmund Loncki, made in the 57th minute of the game. Otto Fenomeno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Kraków1983's Zenon Niezywy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Fenomeno in the 60th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Otto Fenomeno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zenon Niezywy. FC Kraków1983's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otto Fenomeno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Zenon Niezywy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. FC Kraków1983's Radomil Mentis got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Kraków1983 made a substitution. Walery Jajecznica replaced Radomil Mentis. Zenon Niezywy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Fenomeno in the 78th minute of play. Fryderyk Motowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Fang Kun Zheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Bredene were furious when Costel Runcu was red carded, 85 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Costel Runcu kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Bredene were victorious despite being under pressure from FC Kraków1983 for much of the match.
