The crowd rose to their feet as El Paszito's Basilio Frisco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Khalil Besheer. That made the score 1-1 after 14 minutes of play. The throw-in from Osama Walid in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by El Paszito's Mikolaj Golob. After having played for 21 minutes, Victorio Demesio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Paszito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorio Demesio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazhar Ismail in the 24th minute of play forced El Paszito's goalkeeper Ryszard Opat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute of the match, Victorio Demesio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Khalil Besheer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 40th minute Osama Walid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Opat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khalil Besheer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wladyslaw Munko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mazhar Ismail made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, El Paszito's goal looked a bit too open when Abdel Wahab Fadel came free, but Ryszard Opat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorio Demesio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ryszard Opat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazhar Ismail, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute Mazhar Ismail shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Opat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iwan Modrzewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalil Besheer having to interfere. Ryszard Opat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazhar Ismail in the 59th minute of play. El Paszito's Victorio Demesio got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the game, Mazhar Ismail cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Ryszard Opat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. El Paszito's attentive Mikolaj Golob managed to snatch the ball when Osama Walid made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. Mikolaj Golob received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Khalil Besheer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazhar Ismail recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ryszard Opat made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Farouk Gameel sent off a good shot on target. Khalil Besheer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Demesio in the 80th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Mazhar Ismail's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ryszard Opat was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Wladyslaw Munko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Victorio Demesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ryszard Opat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdel Wahab Fadel's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Ryszard Opat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdel Wahab Fadel, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the game, Boruc Ligas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bolton Wanderers's Samy Hakeem quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The corner led Bolton Wanderers's Farouk Gameel to fire away a dangerous shot which Ryszard Opat despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
