With a little luck, TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Emilio Posada got control of the ball when Fabio Kanavaros tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute, Paolo Matia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Juan Manuel Olivera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Juan Manuel Olivera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vilhelm Palonen. FC Gurbanovtsi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Manuel Olivera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Juan Manuel Olivera took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vilhelm Palonen. Vilhelm Palonen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Vilhelm Palonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Manuel Olivera in the 25th minute of play. Emilio Posada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evstati Kiradzhiyski, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Emilio Posada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timur Achuev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s attentive Claudinho Aparecido managed to snatch the ball when Lyuben Mitrakiev made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. Vilhelm Palonen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tito Pizzuti went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Emilio Posada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabio Kanavaros in the 35th minute. Emilio Posada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nedko Vatov in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Juan Manuel Olivera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Manuel Olivera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The FC Gurbanovtsi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Manuel Olivera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vilhelm Palonen was a little too slow when Juan Manuel Olivera got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-5. Juan Manuel Olivera might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vilhelm Palonen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Manuel Olivera got free with Vilhelm Palonen in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emilio Posada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nedko Vatov in the 66th minute of play. Vilhelm Palonen made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Juan Manuel Olivera sent off a good shot on target. Bone Rochev hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfred Lech in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vilhelm Palonen saved FC Gurbanovtsi from getting behind. In the 76th minute, Peker Ersed fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Emilio Posada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timur Achuev in the 78th minute of the match. Vilhelm Palonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peker Ersed in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute of the match, Percy Carioca tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vilhelm Palonen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Percy Carioca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vilhelm Palonen came out and tried to block the shot, but Percy Carioca slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 86th minute. 91 minutes into the match, TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Nedko Vatov came free, but Emilio Posada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilhelm Palonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percy Carioca in the 94th minute of play. The TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
