The audience thought a goal was coming when Héctor Hernández got free with Orlando Guimarães in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. EoDu Uai Sôccer's Orlando Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save EoDu Uai Sôccer from getting a goal against them. After 7 minutes of play, MAZER SAF's Paulo Renato Gonçalves made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orlando Guimarães was left in no man's land by his defense there! EoDu Uai Sôccer's Orlando Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Héctor Hernández in the 11th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Paulo Renato Gonçalves took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Orlando Guimarães to make any attempt to save it. EoDu Uai Sôccer's Orlando Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save EoDu Uai Sôccer from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes into the match, EoDu Uai Sôccer's goalkeeper Orlando Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Héctor Hernández. After 21 minutes EoDu Uai Sôccer's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mathias Favoretto who took care of the corner kick. MAZER SAF's Mathias Favoretto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Orlando Guimarães in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 23 minutes into the match, Patrick Valle notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of MAZER SAF's Toninho Schmidt. Toninho Schmidt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor Hernández in the 26th minute of play forced EoDu Uai Sôccer's goalkeeper Orlando Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlando Guimarães made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Mathias Favoretto sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd match minute, EoDu Uai Sôccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Valle to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes MAZER SAF got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Favoretto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor Hernández in the 39th minute of play forced EoDu Uai Sôccer's goalkeeper Orlando Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 played minutes EoDu Uai Sôccer got a freekick which was hit by Tales Costa. Doriva Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Orlando Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MAZER SAF. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Héctor Hernández was the one to do the kick off. Orlando Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonsinho Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonsinho Medeiros's late challenge caught a EoDu Uai Sôccer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Afonsinho Medeiros helped the player get up and apologised. Afonsinho Medeiros hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. MAZER SAF's Jerônimo Baiano was substituted for Valdo Sampaio. After a rather tough play, MAZER SAF's Afonsinho Medeiros got a free kick in the 65th minute. EoDu Uai Sôccer's Orlando Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Recife in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Claudinei Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enéas Ceresso in the 74th minute of play. Orlando Guimarães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Gustavo Recife went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. In the 81st minute, Pedro Luiz Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orlando Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Gustavo Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 played minutes EoDu Uai Sôccer got a freekick which was hit by Isaltino Vargas. Afonsinho Medeiros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Orlando Guimarães. In the 89th minute, Jerônimo Baiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orlando Guimarães was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 92nd match minute, MAZER SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enéas Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, EoDu Uai Sôccer's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Vianna came free, but Orlando Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonsinho Medeiros in the 96th minute of play forced EoDu Uai Sôccer's goalkeeper Orlando Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MAZER SAF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
