The audience thought a goal was coming when Semavi Polat got free with Dan Wennerqvist in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victoria Przyborów were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Soroca F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ryszard Dytrych took the corner. Boleslaw Ruszczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Lano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Victoria Przyborów getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Robustiano Admon hit a great ball. Cássio Zonta made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Amador Venceslao immediately put the ball in play. Boleslaw Ruszczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Lano in the 42nd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Hernan Lano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Boleslaw Ruszczyk made a huge save. If Adrián Espadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Soroca F.C.'s Rodolfo Atarrabi was substituted for Gustavo Tartalo. Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula was substituted for Adrián Espadas.
