The audience thought a goal was coming when Songurbey Tuncal got free with Vladimir Prestes in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mirkelam Özdoğru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberigo Prosperi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberigo Prosperi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 6th minute Alberigo Prosperi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirkelam Özdoğru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberigo Prosperi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mirkelam Özdoğru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Songurbey Tuncal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Vladimir Prestes made a huge save. Ramon Piarres got a throw-in 20 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Edwin Henriksson. 24 minutes into the match, JiOmaro's goal looked a bit too open when Alberigo Prosperi came free, but Mirkelam Özdoğru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Songurbey Tuncal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Vergaray had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mirkelam Özdoğru. JiOmaro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonzalo Vergaray was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The throw-in from Grzegorz Krychowiak in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by JiOmaro's Songurbey Hünerli. After having played for 32 minutes, Alberigo Prosperi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Cavern Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberigo Prosperi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alberigo Prosperi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Songurbey Tuncal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Vladimir Prestes made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberigo Prosperi to strike the kick off in the second half. Songurbey Tuncal took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimir Prestes. Vladimir Prestes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 61 minutes into the match, Songurbey Tuncal notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes. Vladimir Prestes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ramon Piarres kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. JiOmaro's Levent Kandemir was substituted for Egemen Özpulat. JiOmaro's Mourits Nelander was substituted for Songurbey Tuncal. After 66 played minutes The Cavern Club got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Piarres. When The Cavern Club's Luis Vázquez in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye JiOmaro's goalie prevented a goal. Mirkelam Özdoğru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Vázquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mourits Nelander in the 76th minute of play. Vladimir Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mourits Nelander in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Vázquez in the 91st minute of play forced JiOmaro's goalkeeper Mirkelam Özdoğru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Mourits Nelander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimir Prestes. The Cavern Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mourits Nelander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The JiOmaro fans cheered their team off the field, for while The Cavern Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
