Wit Bronkala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mao Hong Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the game, Boleslaw Nakoneczny was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. STAL ST WOLA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Poland the free kick. Wit Bronkala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mao Hong Yang in the 7th minute of play. When Olgierd Poling fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Poland's protests and gave Olgierd Poling a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Olgierd Poling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stanislaw Domin charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stanislaw Domin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, STAL ST WOLA's Stanislaw Domin got a free kick in the 9th minute. The supporters of STAL ST WOLA booed when U21 Poland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachary Zerde didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16thth minute of the game Emil Majtyka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but STAL ST WOLA's Moisés Novaes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emil Majtyka in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moisés Novaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Emil Majtyka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wit Bronkala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boleslaw Nakoneczny in the 27th minute of play. Moisés Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Poling in the 28th minute of the match. Boleslaw Nakoneczny blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wit Bronkala having to make a save. 34 minutes into the game, U21 Poland's Emil Majtyka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moisés Novaes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After having played for 42 minutes, Wincent Wasikowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Poland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wincent Wasikowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

U21 Poland's Adam Walkowski was substituted for Emil Majtyka. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mao Hong Yang made a kick off. Adam Walkowski struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Moisés Novaes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Poland. Gustaw Bendyk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Wit Bronkala made a huge save. If Wincent Wasikowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. U21 Poland were furious when Cezary Jerzyk was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, U21 Poland's Cezary Jerzyk got a free kick in the 65th minute. Boleslaw Nakoneczny was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Çağlar Soyuncu hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the game, Gu Xiao Kun threw the ball into play from the sideline. U21 Poland's Leonard Snaza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Moisés Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincent Wasikowski in the 74th minute of the match. Zachary Zerde hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Moisés Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olgierd Poling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Gu Xiao Kun in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by U21 Poland's Leonard Snaza. 95 minutes into the match, U21 Poland's goalkeeper Wit Bronkala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patryk Glogowski. Leonard Snaza kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gu Xiao Kun during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Zbyszko Mazierz came up free with the goalie in the 100th minute, the U21 Poland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zbyszko Mazierz couldn't finish the play. U21 Poland were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of STAL ST WOLA for a fine match.
