Þorlaugur Kjartansson succeeded in the game's 7th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 10th minute, Bigam's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dvalinn Steinsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Dvalinn Steinsson sped through Bigam's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaser Mido. When Batran Nayef fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bigam's protests and gave Batran Nayef a yellow card for diving instead. Batran Nayef hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, Akkur Flúðum's Dvalinn Steinsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaser Mido made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. A hard shot 23 in the game by Dvalinn Steinsson from a close distance when the talented Gaser Mido managed to make a qualified save. Bigam's players were relieved. Dvalinn Steinssons short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Gaser Mido to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 32 minutes of play Bigam's Batran Nayef was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Akkur Flúðum booed when Bigam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batran Nayef didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Dvalinn Steinsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaser Mido. Dvalinn Steinsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Gaser Mido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Illugi Ingólfsson in the 43rd minute of play. Jörgen Eðvarsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gaser Mido. Bigam's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Akkur Flúðum fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Akkur Flúðum's Þorlaugur Kjartansson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hanafy Abdel Masoud was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes, Þorlaugur Kjartansson made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bigam's Gaser Mido tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 56 minutes into the game, Aebeed Taher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bigam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Akkur Flúðum the free kick. In the 57th minute, Þorlaugur Kjartansson made a precise shot to the right of Gaser Mido. Bigam's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Gaser Mido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Illugi Ingólfsson's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. The Akkur Flúðum fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Akkur Flúðum's Dvalinn Steinsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Bigam's zone, Dvalinn Steinsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaser Mido came out of the goal and Dvalinn Steinsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Akram El-Saeed fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bigam's protests and gave Akram El-Saeed a yellow card for diving instead. Gaser Mido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Þorlaugur Kjartansson's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. When Akram El-Saeed was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. In the 70th minute, Akram El-Saeed hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 played minutes Akkur Flúðum got a freekick which was hit by Jörgen Eðvarsson. The audience was convinced that Þorlaugur Kjartansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaser Mido was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Bigam's Gaser Mido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dvalinn Steinsson in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Bigam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zaky Ayman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dvalinn Steinsson in the 86th minute of play forced Bigam's goalkeeper Gaser Mido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dvalinn Steinsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dvalinn Steinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Bigam's goal looked a bit too open when Þorlaugur Kjartansson came free, but Gaser Mido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jörgen Eðvarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Dvalinn Steinsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akkur Flúðum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dvalinn Steinsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Akkur Flúðum walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
