The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gaser Mido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Firmo in the 2nd minute of play. A collision led to Jorge Newbery getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Teo Dino hit a great ball. If Akram El-Saeed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Newbery's Casimiro Peruxu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Jorge Newbery from getting a goal against them. Akram El-Saeed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Aebeed Taher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bigam's Gaser Mido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Cibran in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jorge Newbery's Justo Ostots got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Akram El-Saeed notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Jorge Newbery's Casimiro Peruxu. Casimiro Peruxu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gaser Mido came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Jorge Newbery's Marcial Menendo. But to his dismay, Marcial Menendo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 31st minute, Justo Ostots hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd play minute Hanafy Abdel Masoud came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Casimiro Peruxu. 2-1. After 36 minutes, Modesto Orlandus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jorge Newbery and the Bigam players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yousif Adel during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 39 minutes into the game, one of Bigam:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Marcial Menendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bigam's goalkeeper Gaser Mido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Batran Nayef scored 3-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casimiro Peruxu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Enrique Firmo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hanafy Abdel Masoud in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casimiro Peruxu saved Jorge Newbery from getting behind. Yousif Adel was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Jorge Newbery booed when Bigam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yousif Adel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danilo Cibran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Cibran's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Gaser Mido skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Hanafy Abdel Masoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hanafy Abdel Masoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Casimiro Peruxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casimiro Peruxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hanafy Abdel Masoud, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Batran Nayef hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Newbery's Danilo Cibran got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcial Menendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaser Mido having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Bigam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khalil Ashraf to maneuver through the defense. Gaser Mido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Cibran in the 93rd minute. Bigam's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
