The referee ignored Hull City's protests and gave Darius Kemmer a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hull City getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Darius Kemmer hit a great ball. Habib Vural could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but William Feuerstein made a huge save. Christof Heisenberg hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 8th match minute, Hull City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Fabricius to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC BOZKURT's zone, Jan Fabricius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Ziya Eryetiş came out of the goal and Jan Fabricius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Jan Fabricius put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ahmet Ziya Eryetiş. In the 39th minute Gürkan Akbilge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Feuerstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Hull City's William Feuerstein got control of the ball when Hamit İpekçi tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Ahmet Ziya Eryetiş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karlheinz König, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Fabricius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ahmet Ziya Eryetiş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christof Heisenberg made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC BOZKURT's Halil İbrahim Yılmaz. Adnan Kayıhan hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. If Darius Kemmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Jan Fabricius kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ahmet Ziya Eryetiş. That made the score 0-2 in the 76 minute of play. Halil İbrahim Yılmaz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for William Feuerstein. Hull City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 87th minute, Hull City's Karlheinz König dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Fabricius in the 92nd minute of play forced FC BOZKURT's goalkeeper Ahmet Ziya Eryetiş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Fabricius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ahmet Ziya Eryetiş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Hull City supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hull City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
