In the 3rdth minute of the game Mazhar Ismail who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alpasinche's Emilio Bernaldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mazhar Ismail sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mazhar Ismail struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Emilio Bernaldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolton Wanderers. Mazhar Ismail took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Bernaldo. Emilio Bernaldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Placido Inocente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Farouk Gameel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolton Wanderers's supporters rose to their feet, but Farouk Gameel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Bernaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mazhar Ismail's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Bernaldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Bolton Wanderers's Ezz Deyaa got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Mazhar Ismail cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Emilio Bernaldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Farouk Gameel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Bernaldo having to interfere. After 31 minutes Alpasinche's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Farouk Gameel who took care of the corner kick. Placido Inocente hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Farouk Gameel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santos Azeari kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Mazhar Ismail left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bolton Wanderers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mazhar Ismail to make the kick off. Ezz Deyaa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emilio Bernaldo came out and tried to block the shot, but Ezz Deyaa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Alpasinche's zone, Farouk Gameel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Bernaldo came out of the goal and Farouk Gameel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdel Wahab Fadel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Emilio Bernaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Bernaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mazhar Ismail's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute, Mazhar Ismail reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emilio Bernaldo. The goal made the score 0-6. Mazhar Ismail fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Bernaldo having to interfere. In the 70th minute Placido Inocente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kordy Akram saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Bernaldo was a little too slow when Farouk Gameel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-7. Mazhar Ismail might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emilio Bernaldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mazhar Ismail ran back to his position shaking his head. Farouk Gameel struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. A wasted opportunity for Bolton Wanderers. 85 minutes into the match, Alpasinche's goal looked a bit too open when Mazhar Ismail came free, but Emilio Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alpasinche's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Farouk Gameel was slow to take the kick. During this time Bolton Wanderers's players had a chance to rest. Farouk Gameel made a great header on Bolton Wanderers's corner, it was just that Alpasinche's Emilio Bernaldo managed to reach the ball for a save. Bolton Wanderers's Mazhar Ismail got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alpasinche's Emilio Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazhar Ismail in the 95th minute of play. Bolton Wanderers played a much better game than Alpasinche and deserved their victory. The Alpasinche players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
